Hi fellow Defender lovers, my name is Matthew Robertson

My passion is the outdoors, wilderness and adventure.

I’m so incredibly grateful to be living my dream of working and playing in the wilderness.

I founded my bespoke adventure travel company over 20 years ago. I’ve been exploring remote places around the world for over 30 years. From scaling hidden summits in South America, to exploring with witch doctors in the rain forests of Southern Africa, to adventures across Jordon’s vast deserts with the Beduin.

Throughout my travels, I met some of the most incredible people who have profoundly and positively influenced my life. I’ve learnt over the years, that time is the most precious commodity on earth and to savour every second.

My wingman is my 2014 Landrover Defender dual cab pickup. We work with Bowler motorsport, they modified the truck and loaded it with all their performance upgrades.

Since then I have made many more modifications, including ‘Rough-Parts’. I love their kit as it’s impeccably designed, looks amazing and is tough as nails.

My Defender has never faltered, helping me escape the madness of the modern world and take the path less travelled.

I live by the saying ‘Adventure may hurt sometimes, but monotony will kill you’
