Hi all
We are Maé & Oré, the Travelburners - from France - and we are customers of Rough Parts for more than 4 years now, after discovering the brand on Instagram.
During Covid (2020-2021) we prepared our Land Rover Defender with quality equipment and accessories, capable of withstanding any type of environment and allowing us to cross Africa.
January 2022, we left home. We drove from France to South Africa in 23 months, more than 80.000km through 20 countries. From Sahara's dunes to Namib's dunes, passing by equatorial forests of Central Africa, Kalahari plaines and endless beaches of Western Africa. Our greatest feat was to make this journey through the bush and its trails off the beaten track without reducing our daily comfort.
December 2023, we arrived in Cape Town and stayed there for 9 months. September 2024, we hitted the road again to explore Eastern side of Africa, on the Indian Ocean coast ! Once we arrived in Kenya, we decided to leave Africa for the Middle East …
It’s been 3.5 years now that we’re leaving our dreams !
Life is too short to be dreamed ;)
